Minimum Wages Act

Minimum wages have been defined as the minimum amount of remuneration that an employer is required to pay wage earners for the work performed during a given period, which cannot be reduced by collective agreement or an individual contract.

  • To keep a close watch about the revisions in Minimum Wages notified by the competent Authorities from time to time and provide guidance to the company for compliance and to meet statutory obligations under the labour laws.
  • Provide support in drafting the replies addressed to the Labour department with regard to the matters pertaining to the issues relating to payment of minimums wages.
